Thin String b/w Wish and Purpose

"Would that I were a President" or " I will be the President", on the other hand. These two statements reflect the intensity of desire to achieve the said one.The longing is the same in both ways but one is a wish and other shows purpose.Wishes or dreams are like endless sky.The purpose only draws direction on the very directionless sky.
"Life is hard by yard,
But by the inch,it's a cinch"
According to Shev Khera, desires or wishes become strong when they are supported by:
  • Direction
  • Descipline
  • Dedication
  • Deadline
  • Determination

"An empty mind is devil's shop".Life is in a queue if there is purpose ,otherwise it was just a sailing for Santiago(Hero in "Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway)of 84 days, as other sailors considered it so.Though, only a waste of time for others but was struggle with purpose for the hero.
Life with a purpose is a blessing. Many people are reluctant to set direction in life. The reason could be any of the following:
  • Fear of failure
  • Lack of ambition
  • A fear of rejection
  • Low-self esteem
  • A lack of knowledge about goal-setting
Invocations can become the essence of life if we have a proper knowledge to make them pathway for us.Even prison of Nelson Mandela lead him to be the president at the age of 70,which is generally considered the age of retirement.

It needs fireflies to let us cross dense forest at night. Our life is no more than creepy woods, where we may lose our identity but to break through it, a knowledge of directions to reach the destination is required. It is not a sin to dream but aspiration without purpose can leave us in lurch.
"Make no little plans, they have no magic to stir men's blood...
Make big plans, aim high in hope and work."

Hemingway said:" Struggle should be according to resources." To plan in hope is the best thing to do but there must be acknowledgement to have the proper tools to go across the misty grove. The need or required material is fulfilled where there is a highway in mind to sail over endless sea.Focus is needed to ignite even a piece of paper in the same way is our life.
