Aragorn’s Conversation with Fellow Legends

Aragorn

Frodo: Who is she? This woman you sing of?
Aragorn: 'Tis the Lay of Lúthien. The Elf-maiden who gave her love to Beren, a mortal.
Frodo: What happened to her?
Aragorn: She died.
[He sighs.]
Aragorn: Get some sleep, Frodo
.

Legolas: There is a fell voice on the air.
Gandalf: It's Saruman![avalanches start]
Aragorn: He's trying to bring down the mountain! Gandalf, we must turn back!

Elrond: You're outnumbered, Aragorn. You need more men.
Aragorn: There are none.
Elrond: There are those who dwell in the mountain.
Aragorn: Murderers. Traitors. You would call upon them to fight? They believe in nothing. They answer to no one
.
